Mercedes-Benz Vans is attending this year’s hands-on LCV driving event at Silverstone (20 & 21 September 2016) with a full range of vans for visitors to put through their paces. Citan, Vito and Sprinter derivatives will be available to drive in real-world conditions on Silverstone’s perimeter roads, as well as a lap or two of the Stowe circuit to test the handling.
But Merc will not just be showcasing its versatile and wide-ranging product line-up. Experts will be on hand to explain how the brand keeps businesses moving, with the added benefits van operators get when choosing the three-pointed star. These include 110 service points throughout the UK and on average, dealer workshops are open up to 100 hours a week (including Saturdays), with over a third of these being open 24 hours a day throughout the working week, and over 90 per cent operating at least two shifts daily. The aim is to keep routine maintenance downtime to an absolute minimum.
When out on the road, MobiloVan is a free call-out service across the UK and Europe, which comes as part of the free roadside assistance cover that comes with every new Mercedes-Benz van. With 150 MobiloVan roadside recovery vehicles to call on, there is an average response time of less than an hour, with more than 80 per cent of vehicles fixed at the roadside.
Approved Used vehicles will also be on display at DriveVansA2Z, which are now available up to six years old, with up to 150,000 miles. Experts will be on-hand to provide answers to all the product information questions visitors wish to ask.
“We are pleased to be showcasing our award-winning range of vans at DriveVansA2Z at Silverstone this year,” said Mick Glover, head of vehicle remarketing at Mercedes-Benz Vans. “The event provides a fantastic opportunity for the nation’s van drivers to test vehicles back-to-back and get a deeper level of understanding from all of the product specialists on site, and we look forward to showing them how we help to keep businesses moving.”
DriveVansA2Z welcomes all operators of LCVs, regardless of the number they own/operate. Tickets are priced at £25, but Mercedes-Benz Vans is offering a promotional code (MBVDVAZ) to gain free entry. Click here to apply for tickets and further information about the event.
