DriveVansA2Z to feature Iveco’s New Daily E6 range

Visitors to this year’s DriveVansA2Z will have a chance to put a fleet of New Daily E6 models through their paces, following Iveco’s decision to attend the UK’s only dedicated light commercial vehicle show. Iveco will be present at the two-day event with a multi-vehicle display, supported by Iveco dealers Guest Trucks and Northern Commercials.

DriveVansA2Z represents perfect timing for Iveco, following the unveiling of its New Daily E6 range to international media in April 2016, and with deliveries of right-hand drive models into UK owners and fleets starting to making their appearance on the road.

New Daily E6 has seen Iveco raise the bar even higher than its International Van of the Year 2015-winning predecessor, with the new model introducing features that use technology to push the boundaries of performance, raise comfort, deliver more connectivity and lower the total cost of ownership.

Sitting at the heart of the new range is an extended Euro 6 engine family, including models which deliver up to 8 per cent fuel savings and up to 12 per cent savings on repair and maintenance costs.

Iveco has also introduced further enhancements inside the cab, increasing comfort and reducing noise by 4dB.

Key to the new model range is the revolutionary DAILY BUSINESS UP app for tablets and smartphones, which makes New Daily E6 the first light commercial vehicle to take on-board connectivity beyond the concept of infotainment, turning it into a professional work tool with its very .own app. This adds features such as a Driving Style Evaluation (DSE) system, Sygic professional navigation and providing a direct link to Assistance Non-Stop, Iveco’s 24/7 roadside assistance service. All these features contribute to the New Daily E6’s lower total cost of ownership (TCO) and a healthy bottom line for the customer.

Visitors to the DriveVansA2Z will also be able to experience Iveco’s class-exclusive eight-speed automated transmission offered in all New Daily Hi-Matic models. Developed with ZF, Hi-Matic is the same class of  transmission found in premium cars manufactured by sister group companies Jeep and Maserati. It stands out for changing gear more quickly and precisely than even the best driver, needing less than 200 milliseconds for a gear shift when greater acceleration is required – bringing what Iveco describes as ‘absolute driving pleasure’.
